Corner Marshals

Most importantly, Corner Marshals keep our customers safe by communicating with Race Control. They use flags to signal drivers throughout races. This employee needs a quick eye to spot details as cars, motorcycles, and even karts whiz by!

Gate

Attendants are the first person to greet our customers as they enter our facility! Additionally, they’re responsible for getting a signed waiver from every guest. Gate attendants must also learn the layout to properly direct guide guests.

Housekeeping – (Full Time)

Karting

Karting staff members are responsible for running the kart rental and practice sessions on time. In addition, staff must maintain a safe and professional workspace. They keep karts fueled and start them when they are ready to go.

Registration

This staff work alongside the karting staff to assign guests in an event time slot and distribute gear.  The registration staff will focus on logistics, while karting staff will focus on execution.

Maintenance

Maintenance staff keeps the facility looking great! They work hard mowing, trimming, and painting. They assist inside buildings and around the full facility.

Additionally, we have a dedicated Mechanics team for all of the Pitt Race vehicles. They keep everything from karts to trucks running year-round.

Retail

These associates assist customers with ice purchases, directions around the facility, and renting electric spots. They manage the Pitt Race Pro Shop from open to close. Our staff is always friendly and willing to help.

Fire/Rescue

When accidents happen, Fire/Rescue staff coordinate with Race Control and EMS to assess the situation, and respond accordingly. Proper certifications are required.

Fire/Rescue – (Full Time)

The Safety Team Lead is responsible for ensuring that PIRC and its facilities are always presented in a secure, safe, and quality standard. This person under the direction of the Safety Supervisor and is responsible for leading Fire / Rescue staff.

Mechanics

Mechanics are always hard at work making sure Pitt Race equipment is in top shape.

Retail Merchandiser – Full Time

The Retail Merchandiser is a full-time employee responsible for the sourcing, purchasing, and placement of products within the Pitt Race Pro Shop.
