Pitt Race Test & Tune

Test and Tune is a non-timed, non-competition track event. This program is designed for level 3 - Solo Drivers or competition-licensed drivers seeking additional seat time for driver improvement, vehicle tuning, and practice before a race event.

This event is open to all experienced drivers ONLY.

• The goal is to give every driver as much track time as possible. On-track incidents and weather delays cannot be made up. Pitt Race reserves the right to modify the run group before or during the event.

• Pitt Race does not provide instructors for Test and Tune events.

• Drivers must have a competition license or documented proof of level-3 solo driving experience.

There is a $30 walk-up fee if you do not register online before the event. Event details are subject to change. Please watch your email for the latest event communications.

• 7 am -- Driver Check-In begins at the Pro Shop. Please bring all helmets to check in for inspection.

• 8 am -- A mandatory driver’s meeting for full-day attendees.  (The meeting will be held in the Timing and Scoring building.  If you arrive after the meeting, you must see the lead instructor before accessing the track.)

• 12 pm(Noon) -- A driver’s meeting for half-day attendees.  (The meeting will be held in the Timing and Scoring building.  If you arrive after the meeting, you must see the lead instructor before accessing the track.)

• No race engines may be started before 8 am or after 8 pm. If you fail to abide by this rule, it may result in reduced track time for your vehicle.

• Pitt Race determines the schedule and run-groups based on enrollment. In the interest of safety, Pitt Race reserves the right to limit the number of participants on the track at any time.

• Please have a completed Self Tech Form for every car entered in the event. This will be turned in to the Marshal on Grid.
